Get Clients

Achieving success in your business with greater ease means working with people who like and trust you, recognize your value, and get results.

If your goal is to have more raving clients who are eager to work with you repeatedly and refer others to you, it all comes down to getting clear and taking focused action, one step at a time:

1. Get clear on your ideal audience, the challenges they have, and how you can help them.

Understanding exactly who you serve, what problem keeps them up at night, and the solution you offer is crucial. This takes your service from a nice-to-have to a must-have.

When a client I worked within my Mastermind identified her ideal audience as professionals looking to change careers, she was able to pinpoint that one of their biggest challenges was pivoting quickly. From there she could focus on creating a service to help them move forward faster.

2. Build relationships and create trust with your audience.

Having the perfect solution to your clients’ biggest problem won’t result in sales if they don’t feel confident in you and your ability to deliver. To build that confidence, focus on nurturing relationships by listening to and supporting your audience. To build trust, fulfill on your promises with quality work delivered on time.

I helped my client create systems that made it easier for her to deliver on her promises--and even take the leap to hire a virtual assistant for administrative tasks so she could focus on client connections and fulfillment.

3. Create an offering, decide on the price, and make the offer.

This is where you get to step in and wow your audience with your unique solution to the problem that keeps them up at night. When you focus on building relationships, by the time you get on a call prospective clients typically know enough about you to have established some like and trust. If you’re confident in your value and why they need your services, you should have no problem closing the sale.

Because we had worked through all of the steps together, my client was able to easily close a $500 sale during her initial call with a prospect.

4. Deliver on your promise and surprise them with extra value.

Making a sale is not the end of the relationship, but the beginning. When you do what you promised and then add additional--and unexpected--value, you show your audience that they were right to trust you.

My client hit it out of the park with her new service and followed it up with some additional coaching. The end result? A raving client who said that this was the best investment she’d ever made.

5. Ask for referrals and repeat business.

Showing people that you can deliver something they really need and that you value your relationship makes them want to work with you again and refer others--so don’t be afraid to ask!

My client is already planning to raise her price and expand her offering due to the great word-of-mouth publicity she’s getting from thrilled customers.

The Above the Crowd Mastermind is designed to give you the personalized guidance and accountability you need to act on each of these steps and gain your own following of raving clients.
